Born and studied Art in Moscow.
For the last 11 years lives and works in London.
"Creating a painting is not at all about making a faithful representation of what you see. Rather it is all about capturing a beautiful visual and emotional experience.
I use the scene I’m painting as just a starting point. Then I play with colours until I come up with something beautiful on the canvas. Don’t analyse too much, it helps to paint faster.
React to things in the scene that interests me and get their essence down quickly. Playing with the paint on canvas until something magical happens.
